Ahoy, Mateys! Pirate Pub Crawl Invades Plymouth October 2, 2010
On the Rocks Detroit and Zodiac Vodka present the first annual Pirate Pub Crawl in downtown Plymouth, Michigan on Saturday October 2, 2010. Pub-crawlers in pirate and wench costumes will “voyage” to 5 participating pubs in Plymouth from 8 p.m. to 1 am for swashbuckling fun, $3 Zodiac Vodka “Pirate Grog” drink specials, and a chance to win cool prizes including a free deluxe night at the Motor City Casino Hotel. The cost to participate is just $10, and ages 21 and up are invited.
The plundering begins at 336 Piano Bar (336 S. Main St.) where pirates and wenches check in to receive their official treasure map starting at 7:30pm. Buccaneers will then swash buckle their way to these participating downtown Plymouth venues (all within walking distance): Penn Grill (providing free appetizers to pirates and wenches from 9 pm – 11 pm), The Rock (offering free Tarot Card readings), Sean O’ Callahan’s (where scalawags can pose for fun and free photos with pirate Nikki Black aka The Captain Jack Sparrow) and finally, the Ironwood Grill for boisterous live music by the Robin Horlock Band!
No pirate event would be complete without booty! Pirates and wenches who get their treasure maps stamped at each venue will be eligible to win the grand prize of a free deluxe one-night stay at Motor City Casino, along with some doubloons to spend! Additionally, the “Best Pirate and Wench Costume” will each win a cool Zodiac Vodka prize package that also includes swag from Lucky Monkey Tattoo!
While Pirate and Wench costumes are not mandatory – they are strongly encouraged to participate in this jolly roger of a good time!
Advance tickets are available through On the Rocks Detroit’s facebook, and via the participating venues. For more information: info@ontherocksdetroit.com.
